The mission and purpose of Providence is to demonstrate the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ by bringing life changing transformation spiritually, physically and emotionally to the needs of the poor and homeless in San Angelo and surrounding areas.
Our Providence teams minister to prevent hunger, poverty, abuse, addictions, and mental illness. Through the love of Jesus, they seek to improve the quality of people's lives by producing real change through the Gospel.
Ministering directly on the streets to the homeless and poor, distributing food bags, water, clothing, and toiletries.
Visiting homes and apartment complexes, handing out food boxes and supplies while ministering to families.
Serving near local soup kitchens and distributing clothing and hygiene items.
Ongoing discipleship, teaching, and training with those ministered to regularly.
